7amdillah, I've been sick for a few days, I know , that is not an excuse for my long absence, and no I am not thinking of closing the blog.. It is still my outlet to the world.
I thought I had a cold but the doctor is thinking it might be allergy, although I never had those before in my life.. But it sure is a bad feeling.. Lots and lots of sneezing, head hurting every where possible and not possible and a huge feeling of general irritation.. and above all this I am having another womanly symptom to make me even more in pain..!
What to say but al 7amdulillah..
So in a happier note, Ikea has opened finally here, woooooopi, on the first and second day of it's opening we were there :) it wasn't announced that it's gonna open that day so it wasn't crowded.. And I managed to spend a lot of money on things for the upcoming princess's room which will take place in the current living room.. Since we don't really sit there anymore.
More on that later inshalah.
while we were there my little princess found herself a new furry friend.. She loved it so much that she insisted in carrying him all the time while we were shopping until we found her a kid's size trolley.. So cute mashallah :) please ignore the waste basket..:P
Our dear friend in Aramco camp had a thanksgiving lunch one day, and invited us all, it was my first thanksgiving lunch ever and I tasted some yummy traditional thanksgiving food.. It was a very nice day, mashallah as usual she outdid herself in everything, food and hospitality.. And the company was really fun. I am thankful for good friends.. and yummy food hehehe.
So hope to get back with better things to share inshallah, maybe when I start with remodeling the rooms.. till then, aaaaaaatchoooooooooo !!!

I love those lyrics...
This is a song I had in my collection for a while, listened to many times before, but only today did I really listen to the words.. I love them..
The song is called " I know him so well " ..
Nothing is so good it lasts eternally
Perfect situations must go wrong
But this has never yet prevented me
Wanting far too much for far too long.
Looking back I could have played it differently
Won a few more moments who can tell
But it took time to understand the man
Now at least I know I know him well
Wasn't it good?
Wasn't he fine?
Isn't it madness
He can't be mine?
But in the end he needs
A little bit more than me --
More security
He needs his fantasy
And freedom
I know him so well.
No one in your life is with you constantly
No one is completely on your side
And though I move my world to be with him
Still the gap between us is too wide.
Looking back I could
Have played it
Differently
Learned about the man
Before I fell
I was just a little
Careless maybe
But I was
Ever so much
Younger then
Now at least
I know him well
He won't be mine?
Didn't I know
How it would go?
If I knew from the start
Why am I falling apart?
It took time to understand him
I know him so well
The song is called " I know him so well " ..
Nothing is so good it lasts eternally
Perfect situations must go wrong
But this has never yet prevented me
Wanting far too much for far too long.
Looking back I could have played it differently
Won a few more moments who can tell

The party....
We started the party after maghrib and the little ones were coming slowly but surely since then , and once they were here they were taken to the dressing room, had their hair done, make up put on and some nail polish too by my friend's daughter who was really my fairy that night helping me with each part of the party, and their maid...
then their picture was taken on the same throne, and they all looked so adorable mashallah.. even the baby princess ...
some of the pictures..
The tea party then started, we served tea(apple juice) in small glass cup and saucer, but i think they were still young to enjoy it lol or they were really hungry..
snacks, nuggets, burgers and donuts were served too.. and all the time music from Disney princesses movies were playing.. the kids felt special and had a nice meal..
Then the party kid opened her gifts and went oohing and aahing over them, they all were a hit with her, thanks everyone ..
Cake time was cute, the fairy helper decorated the cake with smarties and i put some colorful sprinkles and Disney princesses cake topper..
we sang happy birthday , and she blew the candles twice.. Then cut the cake and the kids obviously were too full to eat any and they all went to play for a while..
After that we played a few games, pass the poisonous apple which is played like the game hot potatoes with everyone sleeping when they end up with the apple and then waken up by a hershy kiss.. it was blast we played it twice.. and also we played the musical magic carpets, and pin the right sticker next to the right princess.. many prizes were gives and they all laughed and had fun.. but boy are kids loud mashallah!!!
After that we distributed the goody bags and hung the pinata which I got for the first time ever, I always watched them play with it in the movies and that was my first to really have one.. Each kid had a turn hitting it then we all pulled the strings together and the candy flew everywhere and kids went crazy collecting as much as they can.. again very fun..
The kids then had some quiet -does this word really ever describe kids??- time playing with their goody bags and eating their candies untill it was time to say good bye and go home..
7amdillah it was a very nice party which I hope everyone enjoyed as much as we did..
next year inshallah we will go to chili's..! lol

Busy busy busy bee...!
Well it was a very busy two weeks.. I was planning my little girl 5th birthday party in a princesses tea party theme.. And if you know me well you know that I believe in taking care of the little details even before the major big things when it comes to party planning.. I keep having plans and ideas in my head and they keep multiplying by the minute and I end up needing a vacation after each party I plan lol
But I honestly enjoy planning parties, maybe that should be my thing.. And I didn't give my baby a party last year with everything I've been going through so this year it was a big thing.. ( next party will probably be when she turns 20!! )
So I will share the details with u in two posts.. one for the before the party and the next for the party itself.. And as for after the party.. Well just imagine a sick lady who can't move well and constantly taking pills of brufen..!
First I had to pick up a place, we don't have many suitable places to rent as a party room for the theme I need, so my friend suggested I use her house since everyone who is coming with their princesses are already her friends before they were mine too. So I thankfully accepted and started planning..
The invitations: I had the idea of a rolled message sent by a doves carrier like they used to do in the past.. so I got me six of those and they were ready to deliver the invites to the magical ball ..
The decorations: well it had to look like a castle, but with not much trouble , so I used lengths of sparkly pink tulle for a lot of the things around the house.. such as back of chairs, table tops and in the castle intrance I did around the room's real arched door..
Every little girl was to be given a goody bag ( I sewed those with striped pink fabric and filled them with everything i could find princess related - Disney princesses that is- but forgot to take pictures.. ouch)
A tiara and a wound, which I got from a discount store and changed a bit to suit my taste more
the boys had a sword and a crown..
For the table I got a golden plastic cover, Disney princesses plates and napkins and pink everything else..
For a napkin ring I finally used some of my stamping supplies and made cute little crowns stamped in gold with the initials of each little princess...
I bought many white feather boas and used those to decorate, over the dining table and the grooming table, where I put brushes, makeup and nail polish for the little princesses to get all dressed up before the tea party..
And for sure no princess can do without a throne.. I did one using an old chair, some gold and pink fabric and a back that I cut from a foam board and decorated with feathers.. Each little princess had her picture taken on the throne individually for the coming thank you cards I'm gonna send them inshallah one of those days..
And finally the party outfit... My little girl wanted to be princess jasmine which she loves so much, and we couldn't find any thing good in the stores so my mom made her one.. We used pink instead of the blue to go well with the color theme of the whole party, it was adorable, mom mashallah did a great job and our princess looked gorgeous mashallah...
Don't you think?
The pictures in the party aren't that good since the lighting isn't bright and I lost my battery charger of my camera.. so I did the best I can with photoshop...
Next post inshallah will be all about the party itself, so stay tuned..

Nothing to share....
I know it sounds strange, but I really have nothing to share with the world.. The last month had me in a roller coaster of emotions and mood swings.. nothing new or important causing that change.. Just life i guess..
And now I'm in a very good mood 7amdillah since I can't remember when.. But still nothing to share.. I prefer to keep my reasons for myself.. but hey don't let your mind play games it's not a secret.. Again it's just life I guess :)
So I got a few new toys to play with , some stamps and papers and punches, haven't opened them yet but when I do inshallah I will share projects in pictures..
These days I am busy typing a few pages for a teacher friend who keeps bringing me more each day, maybe that's why I don't feel like typing here, my hands are hurting lol
So hope everyone is having a great time.. I'm missing some people hope to see u soon :)
