My little indian girl

My friend came back from her trip.. yaaaay
they had a good time mashallah and her kids were very excited about the whole thing , they went to India and got back with a few Indian dresses. very nice and colorful mashallah.

And she got me this to my kid, which went crazy over them and put them on straight away.. she looks cute mashallah, but the pictures aren't that clear..





Thanks L and welcome back home, you've been missed..

I also went out with the rest of the group, some have been travelling and some just busy with daily life.. It was fun, long time since we last did it ..

Another quick project

Yesterday I went to a new shop that was opened while I was sleeping lol , it's in Dhahran mall called mr.price and sells many nice things for the home.
I didn't have the chance to look through it well it was almost prayer time and they were closing, but I managed to get me a couple of things, this is one of them..



I loved the shape of it very much , romantic looking and sweet, but since I don't display pictures in frames ( I have my desktop to do that ) I desided to try something simple yet nice..



Patterned paper, chipboard letter that I colored hot pink and a ribbon later I got me a nice display.



What do you think? I love it..

Missing my friend

She went with her family on vacation, I miss them all very much, and my little kid misses her kids too, she keeps asking me daily to go to their house, you see we used to do a lot of things together, whenever she wanted to go somewhere she takes me, and whenever I needed to go somewhere she takes me too ..lool



And we were dieting together.. and ruining our diet together..
I just hope they are enjoying themselves and all are good and happy, and that they come back safely inshallah.

"L" , I miss you ... :(
and I miss our chilli's group ..



I also miss all my other friends. Life is a better place with friends around you. isn't it?

Guess who is two this month?

I just discovered that I missed my blog's second birthday ..
Imagine me being here for two years, happy times and sad ones.. good memories and bad ones.. new and old crafts.. time flies quickly when u r living it lol

Happy birthday by dearest blog.. and thanx to everyone who contributed in making it a good thing ..

My beloved fabrics

Now have a new place in my room.. For those who know me well, they know how important it is is for me to be surrounded by my things... Things I love and care about should always be in the same room as I am.. I feel they are safe this way.. strange yes I know.!



So this used to be a dresser with big mirrors. I removed the mirrors because I didn't like it and used it to put my girl's clothes in. Now that she has her own half room, with no place for such a big piece of furniture, I decided to store my fabrics there.





They are now organized by color.. with a whole drawer just for my pinks..!



And these are not all my fabrics , I still have some stored somewhere else, they r the bigger sized ones. Plus a few I am working on right now.

Yay.. I'm happy , I still need to label each drawer to know which color is there, saves time when looking for a certain color.

Mamma Mia....!

A must for any ABBA fan... And I am one of their biggest one..
I loved the movie so much , I watched it in the cinema on wednesday and I cried, laughed, sang and almost danced through the movie.. Wow what a ride..



After leaving the cinema I looked for the dvd, but I think it's still very new, yes I was willing to buy it right after watching it, I was willing to go see it again the next day..! That's how much I loved it.

I had to settle for the music cd for the original ABBA songs, which I had many years ago, listened to for a billion and one times.. Brought me some mixed memories..

So if anyone wants to get me a gift for any occasion, let be the movie dvd please.. A great movie I can't seem to say that enough..



Ok so just for the record, it's my very personal opinion, so if you don't like ABBA, or musicals don't watch it just because I loved it lol , but I would still go see it again very easily.. Anytime..!

Some changes

We did a few changing in our house, my room used to be shared with my kid's stuff, the living room with the computer and crafts thing..

Crafting seemed very hard with the sound of cartoons all the time, and I couldn't listen to music or watch a thing while my kid watched her precious Disney channel..

Plus we bought her a bunk bed with a slide, and mom wanted it to be with her in her room , so last weekend we transferred all her things there, and I decided to take my desk and crafts to my room, and of course the computer..

I had a very nice time rearranging everything and making the room look mine again, bringing in all my little memorabilia and stuffed toys, and listening to songs while doing that, without once hearing a cartoon's sound.. I am in heaven..lool



Well the room is still not yet finished, but I wanted to share some pics with u.. just try to ignore the princesses poster over the window and the drowerless cabinet, they still need to be emptied from my kid's clothes and filled with my loved fabrics..

My second homework

I got a new homework to do from moonface ..

There is one rule and that is to tag five bloggers for the homework, but since everyone I know are already tagged by her, so I won't be able to do that..lol but whomever read this and owns a blog is tagged..!

Ok so the homework is to put 10 of my wishes in life (only 10?? I have lists and lists) :

1. To become a better muslim.
2. To reach a healthy weight I feel happy in.
3. To live a happy life with the people I love.
4. To be a better mother to my precious daughter, and live to see her grown up happy, successful and a good person and a good muslim.
5. To find the thing that I want to do in my life and be good at it.
6. To travel the rest of the world.
7. To do adventurous things, I want to start by riding a motorcycle..!
8. To own a big house with a garden , swimming pool and a lot of natural light.
9. To own a car and be allowed to drive it, I'm thinking pink car..!
10.This is not my last wish, it might be my second... To find my other half.. the man of my dreams and live happily ever after.

And like I said, I have many more small wishes.. But I'm sure you don't wanna know about it loool.

I have no idea yet, I just felt like doing it :) It's a small cone like box..

WALLE

Kids - and grown ups- loved this movie, WALLE .. We went the other day to Bahrain, my small family and my friend's extended one mashallah.

We had a very nice time watching that movie with all 6 kids , most were enjoying it, one cried at the end and one slept through most of it.

Then the young kids loved posing beside the big stickers of walle and eve .
